Whiteleys Retreat were handed a generous donation from St. James Newton Upon Ayr No.125 Masonic Group.
The group recently visited the respite centre in Ayr and donated a cheque of £1,000 to CEO Maxine Allan, to mark their 250th anniversary celebrations.
A Whiteleys representative said: “Honoured to welcome representatives from the St. James Newton Upon Ayr No.125 Masonic Group to the retreat.
“They kindly handed over a very generous donation of £1000 to mark their 250th Celebrations - the lodge was inaugurated on the 4th January 1771.”
Mervyn Stuart from the group added: “It was felt that we would like to recognise a local worthy cause and Whiteleys came to the forefront of our thoughts.
“We were most impressed by the facility you provide and greatly appreciated the tour of the property.”
Well done to the group for their kind donation to the charity.
