The weather is turning in Ayrshire and where would you rather be when the rain and wind are pelting down?
Just somewhere a little otter ... as Ayr Farm Park has welcomed the addition of a litter of cute Asian Short-Clawed pups.
And it is a rare sight to see as the baby otters snuggled together for a photo captured by the park's keeper during a peek inside their keep at the heads of Ayr activity centre yesterday.
The Asian Short-Clawed otter is the smallest of the 13 known breeds of the mammal and they live in groups of 15-20 (although they do hunt on their own).
As well as the Ayr Farm Park... Asian small-clawed otters are found in southern India, southern China, Southeast Asia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
They live in small streams, rivers, marshes, and by the coast.
These web-feet otters have dark brown fur with grey, white, or cream-coloured markings on the face and throat.
And true to their name, their claws do not extend beyond their pads.
