The A77 has reopened following a three-car smash south of the Whitletts roundabout this afternoon [Sunday, November 21]
The road was closed for nearly three hours whilst authorities dealt with the incident.
No one was injured however one of the drivers has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for a driving offence.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received report of a three-vehicles crash on the A77 south of Whitletts roundabout around 3.35pm on Sunday, 21 November, 2021.
"No-one was injured and the road was re-opened around 5.55pm.
"One person will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with a road traffic offence.”
