Whiteleys Retreat has received a wonderful donation from a mum who said she was lucky to be alive after an accident left her in the intensive care unit.
Laura Wallace donated a cheque worth £2,000 after she took on the Loch Ness Marathon challenge in September.
Laura was hit by a van that was travelling at 60mph last November.
After months of rehab and work to get back on her feet, she amazingly completed the challenge for the charity. Along with son, Cameron, who was her biggest support along with husband Drew during her recovery, Laura was the Ayr centre to donate the cheque last week.
