A Prestwick pub is to close for good, management have announced.
The Eagle Tavern, located at The Cross in Prestwick will be having one final shindig this weekend to say farewell.
Management at the pub shared the news in a Facebook post earlier today, they said: "The time has come ‘The doors are closing.’
"We will be having one last hurrah this weekend before we close for good."
The pub are reducing their pints down to prices starting at £2.50 and spirit and mixers from £2 for their final weekend.
The public have expressed their sadness at losing the venue, with punters commenting on The Eagle Tavern's post: "Tragic.....a great live music venue but just not getting the support it deserves."
A band member from local act Skaledonia said: "We only got to play at The Eagle Tavern once and loved it... This Saturday should have seen our return! So gutted to lose another live music venue but if people don't attend gigs week in week out then venues will not survive."
