A burst water main in Alloway has meant that hundreds of residents have been left without water this morning.
The issue is said to be affecting 250 properties.
It's hoped that normal service will resume after 1.30pm today.
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “We are attending to a burst on a 6” burst watermain in Alloway which is affecting water supply to approximately 250 properties.
"A team is on site and repairs are underway. These are expected to be complete by around 1.30pm.
"Following the completion of the repair, the water supply will gradually return to normal.”
