South Ayrshire Council employees will be joining staff from Whiteleys Retreat when they take on the Kiltwalk for the charity at the end of this month.
Council boss Eileen Howat visited the respite centre once again to celebrate the charity partnership between the two.
A number of other fundraising events are in motion for this year and early 2022 to celebrate the link-up.
These events will help to raise funds to ensure the charity can continue to offer the services they do.
Throughout this charity partnership, Whiteleys will work with SAC Health & Social Care Department, Primary & Secondary Schools, The Communications Department, SAC Community Hubs and more to raise much needed awareness of the respite services and extended support that are provided for free - helping the charity to reach every single child or young person with cancer or a life altering illness here in South Ayrshire.
A Whiteleys spokesperson said: “Thank you Eileen for visiting, for showing such incredible enthusiasm for our services and to all SAC employees for voting Whiteleys Retreat as their charity partnership. This means a great deal to us.”
