Get quacking racers - the Alloway Rotary Club’s renowned Duck Race is back.
And children’s entertainer Magic Malky, pictured right, will be hosting the whole day.
The fundraising event will take place at Doonfoot Primary School on Thursday, September 16 at 11am.
The event is in aid of the renewal of the School’s Communication Base Sensory Garden.
Individual classes from the school will be able to watch the many race heats, each with some 200 ducks racing, while Rotary in Alloway’s newest member, children’s entertainer Magic Malky, hosts the event in his own iconic way.
Racing begins at 11am with the Grand Final race scheduled to run at 1.45pm with the Winning Duck receiving a Travel Voucher for £250 – the Heat Winners will also receive prizes.
The organisers are advising racers to purchase five ducks to be within a good chance of winning.
Every pound raised will be matched the Alloway Rotary Club.
