Drivers are being warned about a fuel spillage on the B743 road between Ayr and Mossblown which is causing cars to swerve off the road.
One man shared a video on Facebook of a car he was trying to help that had swerved off the road due to the spillage.
Callum McDougall was passing in his van when he saw a car swerve off the road.
He said: "I was passing in my van and seen it all unfold. While I was helping the car in the ditch another car hit the oil and spun out.
"Their is also a car in the woods because of it".
Callum also says the Scottish Fire and Recue Service (SFRS) were called out to the area last night after reports of a spillage.
The incident has been causing a bit of congestion this morning, but nobody is believed to be hurt as a result.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30am on Monday, September 6, police were made aware of a fuel spillage on the B743 between Whitletts roundabout and Mossblown, which has caused difficulty for a number of vehicles.
"The local authority has been made aware and recovery has been arranged for the vehicles in question. There have been no serious injuries reported."
