A full-on Comic Con in Ayr has been postponed until 2022 because of COVID, but that hasn’t stopped organisers giving folk a taste of what’s to come.

Big Glasgow Comic Page (BGCP) Comic Con organisers have teamed up with the Grain Exchange to host a Comic and Toy Market beginning tomorrow and ending on Saturday.

The Market will feature eight traders selling comics, graphic novels, action figures, collectables, accessories, statues, art, pins, jewellery and more.

It will be open from 10.30am until 4.30pm on both Friday and Saturday.

Organiser, Ian Bonar, of BGCP Comic Con, said, “We had to put Ayr Comic Con on hiatus until 2022 sadly due to COVID-19 but working with the Grain Exchange has allowed us to get back to Ayr and provide a small taster of what our events are like.

"Wee hope everyone can pop in over the two days as this is our last Ayr date before we return to the Citadel in 2022 for Ayr Comic Con."
