A 60-year-old woman who was riding a motorbike has been hospitalised after a crash on the A713.
The incident happened yesterday around 6.10pm.
The woman is said to have collided with a black Vauxhall Corsa travelling on the road near to Drongan.
She was taken to Ayr University Hospital for treatment.
It comes just days after two people lost their lives on the same road in a three-car smash.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.10pm on Monday, July 26, police were called to a road crash involving a motorbike and a black Vauxhall Corsa on the A713 near Drongan.
“Emergency services attended and the 60-year-old female motorcyclist was taken to Ayr University Hospital for treatment."
