A fire has broken out in Troon in the building connected to railway station.
It is understood that the train station ticket office on the Ayr to Glasgow side is effected.
All trains that pass through the station have been cancelled, delayed or revised.
A spokesperson from Scotrail said: "Emergency services are dealing with an incident in the Troon area. Consequently, trains through the station will be cancelled, delayed or revised
"This is an ongoing situation, so customers are advised to check our social media for updates about services between Glasgow and Ayr."
Eye-witness reports have said that the roof of the train station has collapsed.
A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: "We received reports of a building fire at Troon, we currently have three appliances at the site and the incident is still ongoing"
