South Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) have announced the launch of their new Integration Joint Board Strategic Plan for 2021-31.
This Strategic Plan is an ambitious 10-year vision for integrated health and social care services which sets out to empower people to start well, live well and age well.
Tim Eltringham, Director of Health and Social Care said, “The Plan sets out our vision for a new partnership with communities and individuals so we can work together to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people of South Ayrshire.”
As part of the Strategic Plan the South Ayrshire HSCP will develop a ‘Wellbeing Pledge’ reflecting the notion of two parties (public services and the community) contributing to a common goal. The Pledge will look to build on the amazing resilience, spirit and mutual support our communities have displayed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to the launch, Tim Eltringham, Director of Health and Social Care met with Marie Oliver, CEO for Voluntary Action South Ayrshire (VASA) to
officially sign the South Ayrshire Partnership Agreement.
The partnership has also launched a new website which will be built collaboratively, focusing on providing information in a simple and user-friendly way which is inclusive to the people of South Ayrshire.
Tim added, “Our collective ambition is for a Partnership that is founded upon strong engagement with service users and carers, driven by quality data and information and committed to continuous service improvement. The Partnership Agreement with VASA is just the start of our ambition to embed our Wellbeing Pledge in everything we do.”
