A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with drug offences following a three car crash on the A77 near the Whitletts roundabout last night (June 15).
The incident happened at around 6.50pm when police were called to reports of three vehicles colliding.
A 43-year-old was also taken to hospital as a precaution and no other injuries were reported.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving three vehicles on the A77 near the Whitletts Roundabout around 6.50pm on Tuesday, June 15.
"A 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital as a precaution following the crash. No other injuries were reported.
"A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with drug offences following the crash and further enquiries are ongoing.
"The road fully reopened around 9.20pm."
