A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged after an incident at a house in Ayr.
The incident happened at around 5.35pm last night (May 27) when cops were called to an address on Victoria Street after they were alerted to concern for a person.
The man was taken away and is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court today.
The incident was contained within the address with no concern for the wider public.
A police spokesperson said: "Around 5.35 pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021, police were called to a disturbance and concern for person at an address on Victoria Street, Ayr.
"A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on today, Friday, 28 May, 2021. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
