South Ayrshire Council employees raised a commendable £1810.33 for Ayrshire Cancer Support during the length of their charity partnership by undertaking virtual events like Christmas Jumper Day which their staff could participate in remotely.
Eileen Howat, Chief Executive of South Ayrshire Council said: “The pandemic has been a very difficult time for Ayrshire Cancer Support as they’ve struggled to keep funds coming in to allow them to continue to deliver crucial services to cancer patients in Ayrshire. It’s been a privilege to champion their cause for the duration of our partnership and I wish the charity every success for the future.”
