Dumbarton's ancient history is explored in this YouTube documentary
A NEW online documentary has been published delving into fascinating detail on the vivid history of Dumbarton.
The 22 minute clip entitled "Climbing Dumbarton Rock // Ancient Britain Documentary", was uploaded by YouTuber and historian "Pete Kelly" to the popular streaming channel.
Pete has an abundance of videos on his YouTube channel from places all over the country which have an interesting history.
And in this video, which was uploaded in March 2021, he visits Dumbarton Rock and delves into the history behind the town stretching back over a thousand years to the times of the Picts and the Gaels.
There are almost 200 comments on the video, most of them applauding Pete for his work.
