A LOCAL children's charity has received a four-figure grant.
Mind Mosaic Child & Family Therapies, which is based in Greenock and provides counselling services, received a £1,000 payment from Inverclyde Wind Farm Community Fund.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "This grant will allow us to purchase toys and equipment for individual play kits to ensure Covid safety for children accessing therapy sessions.
"These kits include small dolls, family figures from a variety of ethnicities, doll houses, doll furniture, rescue vehicles and animals to help children articulate issues of trauma and domestic violence as they are supported by the therapist via play therapy."
