An Ayr restaurant and takeaway has been recognised as one of the finest in all the land and is set to compete at the ninth annual British Kebab Awards.
The eatery in question is 3idiots, who have been nominated in the Best Value Restaurant category and now into the semi-final, will go up against 19 other restaurants across the UK for a place in the final.
Allan Dorans MP has welcomed the news as showcasing local success in the kebab industry.
The MP for Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock said: “I am delighted that 3idiots has been long-listed for the prestigious British Kebab Awards, which highlights their contribution to the kebab industry in the UK. I wish the team many congratulations for their success and wish them good luck in the semi-finals.”
