A man alleged to have exposed himself to women and girls as young as 12 was bailed after facing four sex offence charges.

Gordon McLennan, 54, denied four charges of indecent exposure in Troon when he appeared from custody at Ayr Sheriff Court this week [Wednesday, March 24].

McLennan, of Solway Place, Troon, faces a charge of exposing himself in a sexual manner to woman on North Shore Road on March 17 with the intention she would see.

He is accused of exposing himself to two girls aged 12 on the cycle path on Dundonald Road near Marr College on March 18.

He faces a third charge of then allegedly flashing three 15-year-old girls on the same day and cycle path.

Prosecutors allege McLennan then exposed himself to a woman on a cycle path on Troon's Beach Road on the same date.

McLennan denies all four charges and was granted bail.

He will return to court at a later date.
