PUPILS at Girvan Primary 1-3 are back in class - and have got off to a fantastic start.
The youngsters had a visit to the beach last week and have also enjoyed outdoor learning at the school itself.
They visited the garden area and planters on Wednesday, looking for some signs of wildlife.
And they found some interesting creatures along the way, with a bug hunt, helped by the use of insect viewers, which allowed pupils to get a much better look at the creepy crawlies
