South Ayrshire Lifeline Support has launched a new website to

give people community information.

The website features details of hundreds of support services and activities across the whole of South Ayrshire.

The Lifeline call centre in Ayr has been the first port of call for anyone looking for a helping hand on everything from money problems.

Ayr Advertiser:

to mental health. Now the website will offer another way to find out quickly and easily what support is available locally on a wide range of issues.

Angela McWhinnie, VASA’s Capacity Building and Services Manager who heads the South Ayrshire Lifeline team, is confident the website will become the go-to place for community information.

Angela said: “The team here at South Ayrshire Lifeline have spent the last three months contacting all the organisations and support services previously listed on the South Ayrshire Life website so our rebranded South Ayrshire Lifeline site has all the most up-to-date information about what’s going on out there - what services and groups are still running and how they have adapted to the pandemic.

“The website is really easy to navigate. People can search for local activities, print off handy Support Guides, search for volunteering opportunities, find crisis contacts quickly, learn more about our Lifeline services and much more".

The website can be found here.
