Two youths were arrested following disturbances in Dalry earlier this month.
Following concerns of young people causing disorder, police were patrolling Beith and Dalry over December 5 and 6.
Officers were in attendance after previous reports
from members of the public. There were no issues in
Beith, but Dalry had large crowds of youths causing concern and a boy and girl were arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A male and female were arrested.
“CCTV is being reviewed and further arrests are expected. Police have responded to reports of
disorder in Beith and Dalry area in recent weekends by deploying additional resources including Locality officers.
“Groups of young persons were dealt with by officers and dispersed in Dalry area over [the] weekend.”
