Kilwinning author Andrew O’Hagan is set to appear on a BBC Scotland show to discuss his latest novel.
Andrew will join Juno Dawson and Sathnam Sanghera on The Big Scottish Book Club to talk about Mayflies, a book inspired by his own experiences growing up in Ayrshire.
The show, filmed at Hamilton Town House, is hosted by writer Damien Barr and focuses on a different theme each week.
This episode is focused on the nature of family, with the authors discussing their own family secrets and experiences.
It also includes poetry from Nadine Aisha Jassat whose work covers themes such as heritage.
Each episode features a book club, and this week the authors are joined by Book Who’s Talking from Shotts who will be sharing their thoughts on Andrew’s new book.
The episode is the penultimate in the current series, and will be aired on the BBC Scotland channel at 10pm on Sunday, December 6.
