It is a precarious time for local pubs, restaurants and cafés as they struggle to deal with the impact of coronavirus on trade and footfall. 

From Friday, November 20, East Ayrshire and South Ayrshire will move into Level 4 of coronavirus restrictions - the highest protection level - in a bid to curb the spread of the virus.

In Level 4, hospitality and non-essential shops will be forced to close and a range of other tough measures will come into effect such as travel restrictions.

However, venues can still offer takeaway – meaning locals can enjoy food and drink from their favourite eatery from the comfort of their own home.

We've put together a list of venues open for delivery so you know exactly where to order from over the next three weeks.

In Level 4, the RAD Hotel Group, which owns restaurants including The Carlton Hotel in Prestwick, The Royal Hotel in Cumnock and Lochside House Hotel in New Cumnock, have confirmed that they are closing their venues.
