A whole primary class is self-isolating after a coronavirus-related incident at a school.
Primary twos at South Park Primary School in East Kilbride have been sent home for 14 days as a "precautionary measure".
NHS Test and Protect teams are now working to identify close contacts of those to have tested positive for the virus.
A spokesman for South Lanarkshire Council has said each positive case is being individually assessed by Public Health.
He said: "We can confirm that the parents of children in P2 have been asked by NHSL Public Health to self-isolate them for 14 days as a precautionary measure as they have been identified as a close contact to an individual who as tested positive for Covid-19.
"Anyone with symptoms is asked to stay off and to take a test.
"All positive cases involving a pupil or adult who works in a school are individually assessed by NHSL Public Health and parents and staff are informed in writing of the outcome in terms of who is required to self-isolate."
