THE SSPCA are on the lookout for a home for a snake who has been without a home for over a year.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity has been caring for Capri the corn snake for 430 days at their Ayrshire and South West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, making her their longest reptile resident.
Lynda Hourston, centre assistant manager, said: “Capri would make a great addition to a home but sadly she keeps getting overlooked, as do many reptiles who come into our care.
“Poor Capri has been waiting over a year to find her forever home, after coming into our care when her owner sadly passed away.
“She is looking for an experienced owner who is aware of her care needs and has the time to continue handling her.
“She will also need a large vivarium and the correct set up to keep her happy and healthy.”
