A special couple from Ayr recently celebrated 60 years together.
Alexander and Helen Adams celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary.
The couple, who are originally from Midlothian, first met while dancing at the Bonnyrigg Regal.
They moved to Symington around 1966, when Alexander was posted to Redbrae House at Prestwick Airport, which was an Oceanic Area Control Centre at the time.
The couple, who still live in Symington, have two children, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
South Ayrshire Provost Helen Moonie congratulated the couple via a video call, while a card and flowers were also delivered.
