Glowing reports for four South Ayrshire schools after inspection visits

Belmont Academy in Ayr and Prestwick Academy were given high praise following the positive reports from Eduction Scotland.

Also praised were

Forehill Primary and EYC in Ayr and Glenburn

Primary EYC in Prestwick.

All the schools were visited before the COVID-19 lockdown.

Education Scotland inspectors were impressed by the quality of education within each of the schools.

Leader of South Ayrshire Council, Councillor Peter Henderson, said: “I am delighted that all four recent inspection reports are very positive.

“It’s clear that children and young people in South Ayrshire are reaping the benefits of high quality learning and teaching in our schools and early years centres.

“I would like to commend the strong leadership of our senior Education management team and Head Teachers and thank our staff and pupils for all their hard work.”

The glowing reports have also been well received by teachers at the schools.
