In 2014, as editor of the Sunday Herald, he committed the title to support a Yes vote.
Richard is current editor of the Sunday National.
I'm delighted to launch my campaign to be selected as the SNP candidate for the Ayr constituency, where I was born and have lived most of my life. I would be beyond proud to represent this wonderful area as Scotland wins its independence.https://t.co/vEC32E4AdO
