An employee at an East Kilbride call centre has told how staff have allegedly been "left without pay" as the firm enters administration.
AGO Outsourcing sent an email to workers yesterday morning announcing the company was calling in administrators due to "increasing pressure from creditors", "low sales performance" and the impact of Covid-19 on the "working environment".
The news comes as directors are believed to be on holiday in Monaco.

The AGO Outsourcing employee, who wished not to be named, has now alleged that staff have been left without wages as workers across the board were expected to be paid by midday yesterday.
He said: “We were working from home, logged into the portal then at 1pm yesterday, everyone was shut out of the system and couldn’t get back in.
“That was the first sign, we thought the system was initially down – we didn’t know what was happening at all.
“At the same time, one of my colleagues got a letter through the door and it was actually his notice. Then, all hell broke loose.
“We started having phone calls and meetings with the whole company apart from the two directors who are on holiday in Monaco.
“Nobody knew what was happening, we were due to get paid yesterday and that’s obviously not happening. We have been left without pay.
"It was a horrible, horrible call with people in tears because obviously we all have bills to pay."

Another employee at the call firm wrote on Twitter that she had been left without electricity and two slices of bread as her pay had allegedly not reached her bank.
