A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash between a cyclist and bus in Ayr town centre.
The incident at around 8am saw traffic seize up around Burns Statue Square after the bus and female cyclist collided on Alloway Street.
The woman has been taken to Ayr Hospital.
Emergency services attended the scene and drivers were warned to avoid Dalblair Road and Killoch Place due to congestion.
Alloway Street has since been reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a bus and a cyclist on Alloway Street, Ayr, around 8.05am on Wednesday, 30 September, 2020.
“The female cyclist was taken to Ayr Hospital for treatment.
“The road was re-opened after an hour and a half.”
