A woman was assaulted in broad daylight in North Lanarkshire on Friday.
The 23-year-old was attacked around 1.05pm near Hamilton Road at its junction with Blackmoss Drive in Bellshill.
She was walking from a lane that leads from Liberty Road to Strachan Street when she was approached by a man.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have been nearby at the time.
The suspect has been described as white, about 5ft 11ins of medium build, with short dark hair and aged around 25.
He was wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans.

Cops are particularly keen to speak to anyone who could identify the man.
Detective Sergeant Derrick Lunan, of Wishaw CID, said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I would urge anyone who may have information that will assist our investigation to come forward.
“If you can help please contact Wishaw CID on 101, quoting incident number 1721 of Friday, September 18 or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
