Ayr Writers’ Club (AWC) is delighted to invite all local writers, whatever their genre, to the opening of the 2020/21 programme on Wednesday, September 16.
Until the first group meeting at the Mercure Ayr Hotel on November 4, AWC is presenting the September and October meetings online as Zoom live and recorded sessions.
Additionally, the club’s first writing competition of the year opens in late September. It’s a 500 word book review, with professional adjudicator feedback provided to each entry.
Throughout the year, their speaker and workshop events and key nights, will be professionally recorded for member-viewing. Over the course of the year there are 30 club nights, seven summer feedback ReadAround evenings, and access to a broad range of writing-related topics and activities.
