A LIFE-SAVING device has been installed outside a Girvan church thanks to a community group.
After the fantastic efforts of the Club Diamonds Team, a defibrillator was installed to help anyone with a suspected heart attack until the emergency services arrive.
Club Diamonds have met in The South Halls for many years now and it was they who decided to install the device as well as contributing towards the fund themselves.
The distinctive logo mounted on the hall wall, is clearly visible from the surrounding roads and Stair Park so should be of instant help to any who needs it.
They obtained grants from the Girvan Community Council and Falck Assel Valley Community Fund (Girvan and District).
Donations were also received from the South Parish Church, and the Church’s Wednesday Social Club.
The Camera Club, which has met at Girvan South for many years, also donated.
