Locals from Maybole to Patna took part in the Virtual Kiltwalk this weekend to raise vital funds for Whiteley’s Retreat in Ayr.
Staff from Hays Travel in Ayr walked tens of miles to support the charity, raising an impressive sum of over £1,000 in the process.
Diane and Raymond McLaughlin went above and beyond, walking 12 miles with friends and cycling a further 20 miles as part of the challenge, while Ashleigh climbed Goatfell on behalf of Forehill PS to boost their takings.
The kind-hearted locals were thanked for their efforts and kind donations, all of which will help tremendously with the work Whiteley’s do for children and young people.
