The KYLE Mountain Club assembled on the Carrick hills on Saturday to give the beauty spot a clean-up.
During the litter-pick, a site was discovered that the club think had been used by irresponsible wild campers.
Left on the site were bottles, cans, tents and soggy sleeping bags which had to be taken down to the road where it was all transported to the agreed collection point.
The club would like to thank all those who turned up to help and also South Ayrshire Council for providing litter bags, grabs and agreeing to transport the rubbish away.
