THE Ayrshire Association of Young Farmers Clubs marked a special anniversary by helping three local charities.
In celebration of their 75th anniversary the group asked members, past and present, to consider a challenge that could be achieved over a 75-day period and raise sponsorship to benefit Hansel, Ayrshire Hospice and the Royal Highland Education Trust.
And the members turned out to be fit bunch with one member taking part in a 750-mile cycle, another climbing Cairn Table ten times and another cycling and walking 75 miles, as well as other events.
Although the money is still coming in all three charities are to benefit from a minimum of £750 each. The challenge culminated in a streamed 75 minute live music event last weekend.
