Man appears in court charged in connection to Troon pub 'stabbing'
A MAN has appeared in court charged in connection with a 'slashing' in a Troon pub.
Stephen Wheatley, 29, appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court today after he was arrested following an alleged assault at the town's Harbour Bar.
Wheatley was charged with assault, assault to severe injury and carrying an offensive weapon in a public space.
He was also charged with assaulting or impeding a police officer.
Wheatley made no plea and will be held in custody.
He will appear again at a later date.
