The Whiteleys Retreat Charity have been selected as the supported charity for Digby Brown Ayr Branch, receiving over £3000 from the total £17,490 raised by the company.
Digby Brown Solicitors completed its Scottish Courts Challenge in just 10hrs and 26mins - and raised even more money for charity after clocking more than 300 extra miles.
On Friday, July 31, a team of 180 walkers, runners and cyclists aimed to conquer a 1,443-mile virtual loop of the country’s civil courts in less than 24 hours.
Maxine Allan, CEO of Whiteleys Retreat said: “Due to COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions, all fundraising events have been cancelled and therefore most of our income depleted.
“We are hugely reliant of individuals and companies who can run their virtual events such as Digby Brown, as the funds are life saving for the charity.”
