FOOTBALL has returned to Cumnock for youngsters with training able to resume this week.
The cones and balls were out as Cumnock Juniors Girls FC under 11 and 13 girls, the boys youth 2012s able to enjoy their first session at Townhead Park on Monday (July 27)
It was the first chance to catch up with team mates since March as coronavirus brought a halt to the season and training.
Some changes were implemented at the Cumnock ground with all players required to wash their hands on arrival.
Players had been practicing their skills at home during lockdown.
We told how the teams were set a series of home challenges by coaches to keep them motivated.
The girls also took to home baking challenges as they kept in touch.
Cumnock Juniors Girls FC said: “Our girls teams were all back in action. We must say, it’s good to be back.”
