Concerns are growing for the welfare of a man who has been missing from Troon for four days.

Robert Rennie, 48, left his home in Troon with the intention to travel to Glasgow. 

He was last seen leaving Glasgow Central station in the direction of Hope Street around 1.25pm on Thursday, July 9. 

The 48-year-old has not been in contact with any relatives since he left his property in Welbeck Crescent around 10.30am on the same day.

He is described as white, 6ft 2ins tall with a medium build.

When he was last seen, Robert was wearing a grey shirt, dark denim jeans, navy coloured trainers and carrying a brown satchel. 

Police Inspector William Campbell, Response Policing at Ayr, added: “Enquires are ongoing to trace Robert to ensure he is safe and well”.

“The last sighting of Robert was around 1.25pm on Thursday the 9th of July 2020 where he was seen leaving Glasgow Central Railway station walking in the direction of Hope Street”.

“If anyone has any information about his whereabouts or if Robert is reading this then please get in touch as soon as possible”.

Anyone who may have seen Robert since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2033 of 11th July 2020.
