Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash which took place near Patna on Sunday afternoon causing a driver and passenger to sustain serious injuries.
The crash forced road closures on the A713.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a three vehicle crash on the A713 near Patna, South Ayrshire, around 12.20pm on Sunday, 5 July, 2020.
"The collision involved a Stagecoach bus, Land Rover Discovery and Toyota Avensis.
"The driver and passenger within the Land Rover Discovery were taken to Ayr Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
