BEER gardens are set to return to North Ayrshire next week with businesses prepping to welcome punters back.

Excitement is building ahead of their return on Monday, July 6 as lockdown restrictions are further eased allowing residents to enjoy their first fresh pint in months.

We have been busy scouting some of the best spots that will be gearing up to reopen, with some already taking bookings for some (fingers crossed) days of sunshine.

R&A Sports Bar and Restaurant, Irvine

Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald:

Arguably the coolest spot in North Ayrshire can be found at the Sports Bar in Irvine.

The town centre venue not only delivers with a spacious beer garden but they have recently revealed an upstairs Roof Terrace.

They are not taking bookings for the time being which may change depending on demand come Monday.

The Station Bar, Stevenston

Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald:

The Station Bar will open their beer garden from Monday, bringing outdoor pints to the Three Towns for the first time in months.

The Stevenston spot has been gearing up to welcome customers back, with no bookings required.

The Waterside Hotel, West Kilbride

Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald:

The Waterside have confirmed they will be opening the garden and veranda areas for people to enjoy.

The venue operated by Simps Inns offers stunning views across to Arran making it a perfect location to socialise after months of lockdown.

Cecchinis, Ardrossan

Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald:

The hugely popular Italian restaurant will return on Monday.

The picturesque spot at the marina will open it’s outdoor terrace and will also be serving some of their amazing food.

Starting from 9am breakfast will be served first, with lunch starting from 12pm and drinks available from 11am.

Time slots can also be booked.
