Maybole residents were heaped with praise for tidying up Greenside.
Residents were praised during Volunteers Week, after residents in the town banded together to get the grass cut to cheer up neighbours during the reduced services of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A South Ayrshire Council spokesperson said: “Residents of Maybole’s Greenside were delighted a few weeks ago when group of green-fingered volunteers paid a surprise visit to cut the grass, sprucing up the area for locals to enjoy”
