Two lovely ladies from a nursing home in Prestwick, recently took part in the Dementia Awareness Community Knitting project, which was launched by Dementia Friendly Prestwick.
Janet Cross and Chris Traill were knitting up a storm at Queen’s Nursing Home.
Chris Traill is an activities coordinator at the nursing home and Janet Cross is a resident living there. Both ladies did a fantastic job with their knitting project and were helping to raise awareness of dementia in the process.
