THE AYRSHIRE Fiddle Orchestra are set to hold a virtual concert in place of their cancelled gig in Ayr due to coronavirus.

Young musicians have been working hard via Zoom rehearsals during lockdown, with 50-60 tuning in each week.

Their amazing collaborative work has already attracted thousands of views each week with the virtual performances shared on their Facebook page.

The big show was set to go ahead at Ayr Town Hall on Saturday, June 20.

But instead the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra are putting together a programme of clips and music so that they can have a virtual concert instead.

This will be livestreamed on Facebook and will be free to view, but donations are welcome.

Enjoy the show.
