GIRLS of St Patrick’s Primary School in Troon celebrated their First Holy Communion with a virtual day of fun.

Saturday, May 23 would have seen the Primary 4 class mark the occasion but they were unable to due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Instead they popped on their dresses and held afternoon teas over video calls.

The girls were also paid a surprise visit from Head Teacher Lynsey May and Depute Tricia McFadyen who delivered a treat from The Ice Cream Factory.
