STAFF are Dobbies were delighted to welcome customers back to the garden centre after months of lockdown.

As restrictions were lifted thanks to updated guidance Scottish Government, Ayr was one of 12 of their Scottish stores that opened up again on Friday, May 29.

The move was part of phase one of the route map to restrict measures put in place due to the threat of coronavirus.

The team at Dobbies had been working hard to ensure their store was ready for opening at 9am, as customers queued outside maintaining social distancing measures keeping two metres apart.

At first the restaurant remained closed, but a take away menu has opened up from today.
