SOUTH Ayrshire campus cops have passed on a message of thanks to primary and secondary school pupils throughout the area.

However, while they commend the youngsters for observing the government’s coronavirus guidelines, their message is clear: keep doing what you’re doing.

A short video posted on to social media by South Ayrshire Police involved all eight campus cops. The video started with PC Harrower at Marr College in Troon.

The message from all of the officers read: “Hi everyone, just a short message from the South Ayrshire campus cop team.

“We hope you and your families are all safe and well. Please stay at home and don’t be tempted to go out and meet up with your friends. Keep doing what you’re doing – we’re all in this together.

“Please continue to engage with your school and keep in touch with your family and friends. We hope you are continuing with your home schooling and are learning lots outside of the classroom.

“We’re missing you all, and hope to see you all again soon. From all of us here at Police Scotland – stay home and stay safe.”
